NASA Worm Logo Shirt

In 1975, NASA replaced the iconic “meatball” insignia with the “worm” logo. In its purest form, the worm is stylized in a red font. The A is missing the horizontal bar coupled with the first A and S connected. The “worm” NASA logo was officially retired in 1992. However, the “worm” logo has gained new popularity. The current NASA administration brought the logo out of retirement in 2020, at the same time of returning to manned launches from the United States.
