All playing cards/card decks are not created equal. There are two main sizes: poker playing cards, and bridge playing cards. Poker cards are typically 2.5 inches by 3.5 inches. Bridge playing cards are 2.25 inches x 3.5 inches. Some casinos use bridge size cards in their poker rooms to help with the automatic card shuffler. Popular games use the smaller bridge style cards.
